Active in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the act embraced layered percussion, soulful vocals, and remix-friendly arrangements designed for both radio and the dancefloor. Their aesthetic emphasizes rhythmic drive and melodic hooks, drawing on traditional influences while embracing modern studio techniques. African Unity worked with notable producers and remixers to translate their sound into vibrant club mixes and radio edits.

This release, "I Love The Way You Make Me Feel," showcases the group’s adaptability in remix form. The single includes multiple versions—from a Hip Hop Mix to an Extended Mix, Instrumental and Dubonus versions, plus the Original Mix—highlighting the track’s club potential and radio appeal. Producers Demetrius Perry and Jeff Carruthers shepherded the sessions, with remix work by Greg Royal and engineering by John Chamberlin, giving each version a distinct sonic character. The package is representative of early 1990s remix culture, aimed at DJs and fans looking for varied takes on the central song.

Producers: Demetrius Perry and Jeff Carruthers for Rhythm World Productions
Associate Producer: D.J.
