The ensemble includes AJ the Aspergillum, Skiff the Incense Boat, Pete the Chalice, Mary the Ciborium, Pablo the Baptismal Candle, Maggie the Bells, Thomas the Thurible, John the Baptismal Font, Mo the Ambo and many others who bring objects from the altar to life. Dubbed the ALtar GANG by their creator, these characters assist Father as he prepares for Mass and, along the way, introduce young listeners to the lessons of the weekly Sunday readings. The series is produced for young audiences and blends humor, simple explanations of liturgical items, and musical elements to engage children.

He's Coming! (episode 1) focuses on the season of Advent and teaches the importance of preparing for the coming of Christ. In this episode Skiff becomes distracted by the smell of cookies and wanders off, and AJ must find him before Mass begins; along the way the Gang learns about responsibility, the meaning of Advent, and the parts of preparing for Mass. The release is aimed at younger listeners (great for ages 3-12) and combines short stories, songs, and playful sketches to reinforce its lessons. The program is intended as an educational, faith-based audio experience that parents and teachers can use to introduce children to liturgical concepts.

Tracklist

1.
Altar Gang Theme Song

2.
What's That Smell?

3.
Storytime

4.
AJ Seeks the Lost

5.
Late Night With Skiff

6.
Big John's Wisdom

7.
Supper Maggie to the Rescue

8.
Cookie Tune With Cecilia

9.
It's The Sacristan

10.
Consequences

11.
Character Descriptions

12.
Cast & Credits

For CD Player

https://www.neverdiemedia.com/products/altar-gang-hes-coming-skiff-and-aj-learn-the-true-meaning-of-advent-episode-1
