Fronted by harmonica player and singer-songwriter John Popper, the group is known for strong melodies, instrumental interplay and energetic live shows. Their sound mixes electric blues influences with accessible pop-rock songwriting and long-form jams that showcase musicianship. Over the years they have toured extensively and developed a devoted following for both their studio work and live performances.

This three-track release pairs a studio album version with two live recordings to highlight different sides of the band. "Back In The Day" is presented in its album version, while "The Path" and "But Anyway" are live cuts recorded at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach on 10.25.00, capturing the band’s onstage intensity. The selection underscores the group’s strengths in songcraft and spontaneous performance. Fans will find the contrast between the polished studio track and raw live material especially appealing.

From the album "Bridge".
Words by J. Popper.
