Perhaps the best is \"No He Podido Verte,\" which Emmanuel sings with its composer, Juan Luis Guerra.\u003cbr\u003eEmmanuel emerged as a big star in the early '80s in Mexico, mostly singing songs by Spain's great Manuel Alejandro, with lush orchestrations and Emmanuel's soft and silky interpretations. There is one song in this collection from this era, \"Pobre Diablo,\" but unfortunately, it also has the worst sound quality of the 8 tracks. Emmanuel's sculptured face added to his appeal, and his early albums are wonderful (I'm especially fond of \"Intimamente\").
