The CD includes a Teacher Management System that tracks student progress in Math Intervention and produces class or individ-ual student reports. Also included on the CD are teaching resources to help the teacher reteach the skills away from the computer. Check What You Know is a set of problems that assesses mastery of prerequisite skills for Harcourt Math. It can be assigned to an individual student or to the entire class. If a student demonstrates mastery of all prerequisite skills on a Check What You Know, no assignments are made. If a stu-dent does not show mastery of one or more skills, the soft-ware assigns the skill or skills. Each Skill features four sections: • Show Me is a tutorial that uses interactive modeling to guide the student through the process of solving the problem. • Try These is a set of problems that provides guided practice with immediate feedback and support. • Practice on Your Own is a set of problems that provides independent practice. • Check is a set of problems that assesses a student's competency on the skill.
