Mike and Kay already had a desire to move to Virginia, but they didn't know where. This information seemed to be an answer to prayer, so in June of 1974, a Bible study began. As the Bible study grew, there was the need and desire to start a Church. In 1975, Reston Bible Church held its first service in the Sheraton Hotel with about 25 people. As the church grew, it moved from school to school until our present location was built in 1984. We have continued to add worship services to accommodate the people whom God is bringing to RBC.
