The major objective in the game is to gain control of as many towns and cities as possible using regular transports or Attack Transports. Towns have fixed values assigned and to earn those points you must have control of the town without any enemy presence at the end of each turn. Individual scenarios have a pre-set number of turns which can be ignored if playing with the "total annihilation" option. Scenarios can be played separately or as part of much larger campaigns which are basically individual scenarios played sequentially.

You receive "buy" points at the beginning of the game and have the option to start single scenarios in either Frontline (start cities are known to both players) or Random (opponent's start cities are not revealed) status. There are eleven levels of difficulty to choose from as well as numerous options such as weather, random map generation, fuel, ammunition and ship types you want to use at the start of the game. Nine different types of ships with unique characteristics are available to both sides and game play consists of shipbuilding and repair, stealth, battle and distinctive scenario and campaign (use of flagships which carry over from scenario to scenario) rules. There are sixteen levels of rank to work your way through (Admiral of the Fleet is the highest reward) and fifteen campaigns with the early ones geared toward novices.

May include other games or demos.

For DOS/Windows (via DOSBox) [*Please review compatibility/platform sections in 'What You Get']

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0083/0377/1710/products/200745152412413PG_a8840316-785c-41be-8f56-541ebe5e194e.jpg?v=1618278422
