About the Artist
Best known for her top-selling chant albums THE ESSENCE, LOVE IS SPACE and EMBRACE, Deva Premal, joined by her partner Miten, expresses the ancient wisdom of mantra through a contemporary musical voice. "Over the past 10 years we have devoted our lives to the expression of love and gratitude through music," says Miten. "Our music is not intended as entertainment. The true purpose is to awaken a longing in the heart for that which is omnipresent: the experience of silence and meditation." German-born Deva Premal, is a classically trained musician and gifted singer who grew up in an atmosphere of mantras and eastern spirituality. Her highly-anticipated third album, EMBRACE, is due for release in May 2002.
Miten, originally from Britain, began as a singer-songwriter-guitarist in the 70's opening for such groups as Fleetwood Mac and Ry Cooder. He then discovered the power of meditation and left the world of rock n' roll behind. Miten has a number of albums of original songs, including STRENGTH OF A ROSE, TRUST THE SILENCE and BLOWN AWAY.
Deva Premal & Miten met at an ashram in India in 1990. While Deva Premal's name is more widely known, their partnership is deep and strong. "Miten and I have been living and playing together for 11 years. Everything we do, we do together. This is why I always say "us" and "we".

Many, if not most, will work on XP or higher with a few quick adjustments. We provide instructions with all items purchased on how to do this adjustment using the Program Compatibility Wizard. If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.
64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.
Macintosh Systems:
For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version. Please research Google on how to do this, or send us a message for information prior to purchasing. If your MAC OS system doesn't support Classic Environment (ie. MAC OS X 10.5 or Higher OR Intel Macs), you will have to try running it using the free program called SheepShaver, but compatibility is not ensured.
